We ave tried and tested a lot of business tools over the years and we find ourselves recommending them to clients over and over again, so we want to make sure you have access to our top picks!
Here are the tools and services that we use ourselves so we KNOW that they are great. And to be transparent – we are partners for some of these tools so if you click through and buy then it’s possible we will earn affiliate commission.

Email Marketing Tools
We are constantly talking with our clients about the importance of Audience Building – growing your mailing list. In fact, this is the FIRST thing we suggest many of our Mums focus on
Aweber – … and Aweber is our recommended tool for capturing and keeping in touch with your mailing list community. An email marketing service, Aweber integrates really well with many of the other tools we are using. It’s what we use to email our subscribers and send out our campaigns and it’s easy to use their templates to make your emails and newsletters look professional. Click here to take a look.
ConvertKit – Their message is simple: Turn visitors into customers. This is one we haven’t used ourselves yet but as of April 2016 we’re seriously looking at moving to. They offer responsive emails and templates, a couple of options to create basic landing pages which lead direct to your mailing lists, and is an affordable and effective option. Check out convert kit here.
Mailchimp — This is perfect tool for people who are just starting to build their lists. It is FREE for up to 2000 email addresses and you can easily upgrade should your list grow beyond that. We like to recommend mailchimp alongside aweber because it has beautiful email templates and it is very easy to learn how to use – perfect for the newbie!
Kick-ass landing pages
If you’re wanting to build your list, give away content, or sell, then you need to build kick-ass landing pages that look great and make it really easy for people to buy. Here are a couple of tools we use:
Instapage – this one is new to us but we’ve heard rave reviews about it’s ease of use and the end result. With loads of templates to choose from it’s easy to make your landing page look great and get you great conversions. Check out their free 30-day trial here.
Leadpages – If there is one tool that is worth investing in, this would be it. We consider leadpages to be the best in the industry when it comes to creating landing pages that convert visitors to sales (or to email sign-ups). If you have an ethical bribe or offer that you want to get out into the world, then Leadpages is the way to go. It’s used by top Internet marketers all over the world and it is what we use to grow our lists. If you aren’t sure what a landing page is, then it’s time to find out! Luckily leadpages have great resources on their site, so you can educate yourself fully before you buy. Check it out here.
Affiliate tracking software
Leaddyno – very easy for your affiliates to log into and use, cheaper than some other affiliate software options out there, leaddyno is a great way to get started, but has some limitations e.g. unless you have a particular shopping cart, you can only offer one commission level to your affiliates.
We LOVE Zoom! We use this for all our masterminds, workshops, coaching calls and podcast interviews and it’s so versatile. Highly interactive for running meetings, with video, screen sharing, a chat room, and the thing we love the most is the breakout rooms. Very affordable and a free trial period! Have a go of Zoom here.
