Do you want to get better results from your day and feel more energised too?
As you may already know from experience, building a business alongside the chaos of family life can be a roller-coaster of emotions. In fact, many women entrepreneurs comment that starting their business kicked them off on the most intense personal development journey of their lives (other than Motherhood, we’re guessing).
Why? Because when you start a business you are taking a massive leap into the unknown. You are getting out of your comfort zone and into your ‘challenge’ zone (that’s what we used to call in back in our adventure-based learning days!).
Combine it with Motherhood and BOOM! you have a fantastic recipe for increased stress levels, anxiety and burn-out.
That’s why we choose to interview wonderful women like today’s guest Debbie, and previous guests like Victoria Hood (on mindfulness), because our goal is to empower you with tools to help you choose how you respond to these incredibly challenging situations, feelings and emotions when they arise.
Notice we say ‘when‘ they arise, not ‘if‘!
As you will know if you are a regular listener, several of the inspiring guests we have interviewed so far have experienced great success, but have also suffered from serious burn-out, in some cases even life-threatening – hear the stories of Kathy Wong and Kylie Travers (episode 37, going live Tuesday 24th May) for a couple of examples.
We think that sometimes us Mums are taking this risk too lightly.
Remember Mama, your health is the no.1 priority. Without it you won’t be able to run your business or function as a Mum, so that ‘s why we are passionate about bringing women like Debbie to you via this podcast.
Please listen in and take their teachings seriously. You are worth it!
A Mum herself, Debbi is passionate about helping Mums and their families to lead more fulfilling lives and to build healthy and enriching relationships with each other, using kinesiology and other tools like brain gym.
Not only does this kind of inner work help us to get more enjoyment from our day-to-day lives, but it can also head us off on a journey of emotional and mental healing that increases our self-awareness, teaches us how to love ourselves for who we are, and empowers us to navigate through the ups and downs of life with less stress and anxiety, and a more positive impact on the people we love (Kate O’Brien’s story is a fantastic example of this!)
Do you feel a renewed commitment to doing this inner work Mama? Take the first step by listening or watching Debbie’s interview now!

Top tip for a 20 hour a week (or less!) business:
Debbie has managed to successfully transition a traditionally brick and mortar practice into an online business through outsourcing. She hired people to help her with the maintenance of her website and to take care of her email marketing so she can focus on working with her clients.

As Debbie confirmed in this interview, affirmations are powerful! You are what you think. We’d love for you to share your daily affirmations in the comment section below. And if you have tips for coping with things not going on as planned, we’d love to hear about them, too.
